Andrew,

Do not know if you have already tried this, but specifying the
"zeroconf://xxx.yyy.zzz" URL in brokerURL property of ActiveMQ may do
the trick (instead of specifying the exact host).

Still, I found 2 issues here.

1. Though it autodiscovers the broker, it often seems to use one
broker until it goes down, i.e. the load is not being balanced over
machines in the cluster.

2. The current Mule docs for ActiveMQ is incorrect in one critical
place (see http://jira.muleumo.org/browse/MULE-308). That is why you
could have problems configuring ActiveMQ in Mule's JVM.

Please, keep in touch, as this topic is of critical priority in my
client's project as well.
